Ms. Robles-Saenz
My name is Monica Robles-Saenz, and I am proud to serve as your Assistant Principal of Dunn Middle School. I am excited and honored to join such a vibrant school community and to support the incredible students, families, and staff that make DMS such a special place.
I am originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for community, resilience, and the importance of education. I earned my undergraduate degree from North Carolina Central University, where I also had the opportunity to play volleyball, an experience that shaped my love for teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. I later earned my Master of School Administration from East Carolina University.
I spent many rewarding years serving students and families in the Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS) system, where I developed a strong commitment to student-centered leadership and collaborative school culture. I am beyond excited to bring that experience to DMS and to serve our families with dedication and care.
I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful school. My goal is to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, and valued each day they walk through our doors. I am committed to creating a positive school environment where high expectations, respect, and kindness guide everything we do.
